Ministries Offered at Sardis Methodist Church

  • Worship and Music

WORSHIP is at the heart of who we are as a church. We gather each Sunday to be filled and revived by the Grace of God so that we can go back out into the world to serve and minister.

And MUSIC plays a huge role in our worship! We even have an entire portion of our worship service dedicated to "Our Favorite Hymns." Have a favorite? Call it out and we'll sing it. The local paper even wrote a story about it. Click here to read it.

The Sardis Choir is BACK! If you would like to be a part of the Choir, please plan to be here on the second Sunday of each month at 10:30am to rehearse before singing that morning during Worship. All voice parts and skill levels are welcome to participate!

  • Children

Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." - Matthew 19:14

Children are most welcome at Sardis! We look forward to any opportunity to help teach and raise them in the Word, the Love and the Community of God.

Children are included in our worship service, often assisting in taking the collection! About halfway through the service, children ages 2 through 5th grade are offered the opportunity to attend Sunday school. This is a specially-tailored time of education, worship and fun meant to introduce children to Bible stories, the life of the church, and God. Children are offered opportunities to serve as ushers and sing in the choir, and they are important participants in our annual Live Nativity program.

  • Adult

In mission, study, prayer, fellowship... God meets adults in so many ways here at Sardis! Whether single or married, children or no children, come and find your place among Christian family.

Bible studies are offered on Sunday evenings from 5:30-7:00. These studies are generally 8-12 weeks & are offered at various times throughout the year.

We have a new Bible Study beginning on Oct. 2, 5:30pm - 7pm, lasting through Nov. 20.

  • Prayer Ministry

At Sardis, we believe that it is both a privilege and a necessity to be in prayer with and for one another. Please email if you would like Rev. Chuck to pray for you or arrange to meet with you for prayer.
